No sábado, 10 de maio, a Sétima Noite da Novena e Festa de Nossa Senhora de Fátima iluminou a paróquia, unindo a comunidade em oração e celebração da Santa Missa. Seguindo o tema central “Como Maria, somos missionários da esperança”, a noite foi dedicada aos jovens, com o subtema “Ó Maria, que possamos ser luz em favor dos jovens, impulsionando-os a vivenciar a alegria e a esperança na concretização de seus sonhos”.
A celebração foi conduzida com entusiasmo e fé pelos grupos Encontro de Jovens com Cristo (EJC), Movimento Eucarístico Jovem (MEJ), Coroinhas e Pastoral da Comunicação (Pascom). Acolhemos com alegria os moradores das ruas Rua Paulo VI, Rua Praça da Igreja, Rua Santa Rita, Rua Senhor do Bonfim e Jardim das Acácias. De forma especial, recebemos os Patrocinadores da Festa e os Comerciários, cuja colaboração é fundamental para a realização deste evento. As paróquias convidadas, Paróquia Santo Antônio (@santoantonio.padua) e Paróquia Nossa Senhora das Vitórias (@paroquians.vitorias), também se fizeram presentes, fortalecendo nossos laços fraternos.
A pregação da noite, conduzida pelo Padre Waldir Santos da Silva (Instagram da diocese: @diocesedeilheus), inspirou-se na Liturgia do Quarto Domingo da Páscoa, o Domingo do Bom Pastor. A mensagem central ecoou o chamado do subtema: ser luz e esperança para a juventude. O Padre Waldir destacou a importância de guiar os jovens com o exemplo de Cristo, o Bom Pastor, e com a ternura de Maria, impulsionando-os a não desistirem de seus sonhos e a encontrarem na fé a alegria e a força para superar os desafios. Foi um convite a toda a comunidade para apoiar e incentivar os jovens em sua caminhada.
O Momento Devocional “Rezando com Maria” foi particularmente significativo, com a oração da noite: “Ó Virgem Maria, que em Fátima revelastes a doçura de vosso Coração Imaculado… Que os jovens inspirados pelo verdadeiro Amor não percam a luz da esperança na vida e na concretização de seus sonhos.”. A Ladainha de Nossa Senhora foi entoada com devoção.
A Santa Missa, integrada à novena, foi o ponto alto, onde a comunidade pôde se alimentar da Palavra e da Eucaristia. A noite seguiu com a Homenagem a Nossa Senhora, os sorteios da Imagem Peregrina. Os avisos prepararam a comunidade para as noites seguintes, e a confraternização na quermesse proporcionou momentos de alegria e partilha. A Adoração ao Santíssimo Sacramento encerrou a celebração.
