Na noite de 12 de maio de 2025, a Paróquia Nossa Senhora de Fátima vivenciou com emoção e gratidão a nona e última noite da novena em preparação para a grande Festa da Padroeira. O tema central “Como Maria, somos missionários da esperança” culminou com a reflexão do subtema “Ó Maria, que possamos reconhecer, cuidar e saber interagir com os idosos, em especial com os avôs e avós, na esperança da transmissão da fé e experiência da vida”.
A celebração foi conduzida com especial carinho pela Pastoral do Dízimo e Pastoral do Batismo, que prepararam um ambiente de acolhimento e oração. Recebemos com alegria os moradores das ruas Rua Felícia de Novaes, Rua Santa Cruz, Avenida Juracy Magalhães e Travessa Luís Carlos. Homenageamos também os Profissionais da Segurança, cujo trabalho é essencial para a tranquilidade de nossa comunidade. A paróquia convidada desta noite foi a Paróquia São Judas Tadeu (@saojudastadeu.itb).
O pregador da noite foi o estimado Padre Monsenhor Moizés de Souza (@moizesdes). Inspirado pela Palavra de Deus, especialmente na leitura do Livro do Eclesiástico (Eclo 44,1.9-13) que faz o elogio dos antepassados e da herança de fé, Padre Monsenhor Moizés teceu uma belíssima homilia sobre o valor inestimável dos idosos em nossas famílias e na Igreja.
Ele nos lembrou que os idosos são tesouros de sabedoria, guardiões da fé e transmissores de experiências de vida que moldam as novas gerações. Enfatizou a importância de reconhecer sua contribuição, cuidar deles com amor e paciência, e, sobretudo, saber interagir, aprendendo com seus ensinamentos e valorizando sua presença. Padre Monsenhor Moizés destacou que, na sociedade atual que muitas vezes descarta o que é “velho”, a Igreja é chamada a ser um farol, mostrando o respeito e a veneração devidos àqueles que construíram o caminho antes de nós. A figura dos avôs e avós foi exaltada como fundamental na transmissão dos valores cristãos e na manutenção da esperança.
O Momento Devocional “Rezando com Maria” foi particularmente emocionante, com a oração específica da noite: “Ó Virgem Maria, Mãe de Cristo e nossa Mãe, vós que em Fátima revelastes a ternura de vosso coração… pedimos que nos inspire a sermos generosos e bondosos, dedicando-nos mais aos idosos, tratando-os com amor e carinho e com isso, possamos aprender com os avôs e avós suas experiências de vida e fortaleça na fé.”. A Ladainha de Nossa Senhora foi cantada com fervor pela assembleia.
Após a homilia e a partilha da Palavra, a noite seguiu com a Coleta, a Homenagem a Nossa Senhora (com a apresentação especial). Os avisos finais convidaram a todos para a grande Festa de Nossa Senhora de Fátima no dia seguinte, com a Missa Solene e a Procissão Luminosa. A confraternização na quermesse encerrou as noites de novena em clima de alegria e união.
